When you use Kruz, we may collect:

• Profile content — car garage entries, profile photos
• Activity data — meets you create, RSVPs, crew memberships, photos uploaded
• Technical data — browser type, IP address, pages visited (via standard server logs)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Kruz platform
• Display your profile, meets, and content to other users
• Send important account notifications (e.g. email verification)
• Ensure platform security and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), a GDPR-compliant cloud database. Profile photos and meet banners are stored in secure cloud storage. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Kruz uses browser local storage to keep you logged in between sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Update or correct your profile information at any time
• Export your data on request

6. Third-Party Services

Kruz uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — website hosting
• OpenStreetMap / CARTO — map tiles (no personal data shared)
• Google OAuth — optional login (if you choose to sign in with Google)

7. Children's Privacy

Kruz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform.
